Illuminate Legal – getting those important matters dealt with!

The firm continues to go from strength to strength but Rebecca is still here working away, looking after lots of local (and sometimes not so local!) clients. Lots of people use the new year as a prompt to get on and sort out Lasting Powers of Attorney and Wills. Sadly, the winter can be a difficult time for older clients but putting one’s affairs in order can give great peace of mind. Rebecca’s experience as a solicitor for many years can assist at difficult times. Wills are so important, as is reviewing them as life progresses.

Steps to get personal affairs in order for 2020!

  1. If you have a Will, is it current? Has life changed since you made it? Do you have more children, grandchildren or have any of your beneficiaries of Executors sadly passed away?
  2. If you don’t have a Lasting Power of Attorney, is this something worth considering? Mental incapacity is rising and none of us, whatever age we are, know quite what the future may bring. Do you work abroad? A family member could benefit from being able to manage your affairs for you while you are away? (under your direction and at your request obviously!)
  3. Do you work in the daytime or would a home visit help you from a practical sense? Rebecca at Illuminate Legal visits all her clients in the peace and quiet of their own homes. Evening appointments are available.
  4. Are you further afield (we are based in Hart, Hampshire)? We can assist you remotely and offer a personalised and considered service arranging phone calls, facetime calls etc at a time to suit you.
